PHYSICS

Henriksen Studio London Building Physics

Building physics in facade engineering is a discipline for modelling the thermal performance of the building envelope. We use if to make designs more energy efficiency, with consideration thermal bridging, and to assess condensation risks and maximise indoor comfort.

We integrate our expertise in building physics into developing the design of the building envelope to make energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. We do this through carrying out detailed thermal modelling through 2D and 3D finite element analysis. Building physics is central to achieving occupant comfort whilst minimising the energy demand of building and, therefore, essential for delivering Net Zero carbon.
